YouTube Video URLs: The Extension will collect URLs of YouTube videos watched by user when the extension is active.

We use the collected information for the following purposes: Email Address: The user’s publicly available information mentioned above are retrieved using Chrome’s API and are used for storing extension usage analytics, like for example number of times the user summarised a video to Sign Language, etc. YouTube Video URLs: For the purpose of retrieving the transcript of the video and converting them to Sign Language for interpretation.

Data Security

Extension only collects users' publicly available information and stores them securely in Database.

Extension may use third-party services such as YouTube API to retrieve video information from the YouTube URL and ChatGPT for transcript specific transformations needed in the extension.
